What Sets Kirsch-Goodwin & Kirsch Apart

They have personal backgrounds and experiences as educator and as parent.  Attorney Hope Kirsch has her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in special education, and holds several licenses and certifications in teaching special education and as a special education school supervisor and administrator.  She taught special education in self-contained classes, special education schools and hospital schools for 12 years and was a special education supervisor and school administrator for five years in the New York City public schools during which time she was responsible for opening and developing a school site for severely emotionally handicapped students.  Attorney Lori Kirsch-Goodwin navigated the school system for nearly 15 years as the parent of a child with special needs.  Together, Hope and Lori have brought their own personal experiences, combined with their legal experience as litigators and trial attorneys in NY, NJ and Arizona to the education law arena to help students and their families throughout Arizona.  They advise and represent clients at IEP meetings, 504s, mediations, resolution meetings and due process hearings.  They assist in determining necessary and appropriate accommodations and modifications to existing curricula and facilities.  In addition to their experience in schools and the law, they are passionate about what we do.  As education law attorneys, they are strong advocates for all students, including special needs children, students facing disciplinary actions, targets of bullying, students inappropriately disciplined, students who have been subjected to restraint and seclusion.  They have the legal experience your child needs.  They work with a network of advocates and professionals in the fields of medicine, psychology and child development who can help provide evidence in your case.
